Backstory:

Created in Fall of 2012 in Los Angeles. I was on the phone with my best friend and fellow / former "Equilibrium" member Majik Most and telling him how much I loved making music using Ableton Live compared to anything I ever used to produce prior.

At the time, He was still trying to record a new album so of course the second I bragged about being able to make beats effortlessly, his first instinct was to challenge that statement by telling me to make something for his album.  I told him, If you have a specific sample you want me to flip, send it to me now and I'll literally make you something while we're on the phone....   He sent one of his favorite samples he's been saving for years and I said,  "Are you sure you want me to flip this for you, it's hella kooky" and asked for something else.  He was adamant about me proving I could flip anything he sent quickly so I loaded it up and.....

We were on the phone for like 30 minutes when he said... "That's really dope, but it doesn't sound like I can Rhyme over it"  and I said.....    "yeaaaa buddy, I'm sorry but I love this and I'm keeping it to release on an instrumental album in the future, do you have any other samples you wanna send"    He laughed and called me a**hole and said he knew this was gonna happen...

A few months later, I surprised him by uploading the track to Soundcloud and named the track in dedication to him.  His publishing was ALL MOST productions, and he almost have another Dutchyyy beat to rap over ; )

I ended up making him something to use that same day, and as fate would have it,  he stopped recording music haha.

To this day, this remains one of my favorite beats I've made.  It's not super intricate, just super fun, good memories attached and captures the spirit of hip hop in a carefree way,  but Dutchyyyfied.

and thus, AllMost was born.
